SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
L'intervento costituisce una ulteriore fase funzionale del programma di velocizzazione dell'itinerario mediante la realizzazione di un'infrastruttura ferroviaria interoperabile e velocizzata sull'intera relazione Palermo¿Catania, con due binari sulle tratte ferroviarie di adduzione ai poli urbani di Palermo e Catania e la velocizzazione e potenziamento per l'interoperabilità della tra¿¿a Lercara¿Catenanuova.I n par¿¿colare l'intervento consiste nel completamento della progettazione degli interventi della 1^ macrofase (Lercara Diramazione¿Caltanissetta Xirbi e Caltanissetta Xirbi ¿ Dittaino) e nella realizzazione di un primo lotto funzionale tra Lercara e Dittaino.
