SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Il progetto si propone di realizzare un sistema propulsivo GREEN composto da motore elettrico, pacco batterie, fuel cell alimentata ad idrogeno o metanolo ed interfaccia con il motore termico. Come verifica operativa del risultato atteso sarà realizzato un dimostratore di impianto propulsivo GREEN, che sarà installato a bordo dell'imbarcazione TORNADO 45 della Sorrento Luxury in grado di consentire la navigazione attorno all'isola di Capri con il motore termico spento. Il risultato del progetto è un impianto propulsivo che, per come concepito, sarà estremamente appetibile all'intero comparto nautico in quanto risolverebbe grandi problemi di mobilità in aree dove è vietato emettere inquinanti in atmosfera o in acqua.
