SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

Il sistema turistico della Penisola Sorrentina ha subito nel corso del 2020, come evidenziato dai recenti dati Istat, un profondo tracollo tradottosi in un azzeramento dei flussi turistici nel periodo di lockdown e una timida ripresa a giugno 2020 con l'apertura agli spostamenti interregionali. Di fronte ad un calo della domanda turistica regionale del 70%, con punte quasi del 90% tra Penisola sorrentina e Costiera amalfitana (per effetto del crollo delle presenze straniere), la ripartenza nel 2021 è stata accompagnata da grande entusiasmo dagli operatori economici. Ma le sfide che si pongono agli attori del comparto sono in parte nuove e contingenti (distanziamento, sicurezza, programmazione, servizi per il rispetto dei protocolli di viaggio) ed in parte di natura strutturale legate alla necessaria qualificazione dei servizi, al posizionamento e alla logistica.
