Architecture of the Totalitarian Regimes of the XX¿ Century in Urban Management PLUS
ATRIUM PLUS capitalizes the project "ATRIUM-Architecture of the Totalitarian Regimes of the XX Century in Urban Management" (2011-2013), co-funded by the South-East Europe programme. ATRIUM produced a general concept on how to deal, in a critical and responsible way, with this heritage as well as a set of useful tools ¿ a Digital Cataloguing§; a Manual for a Wise Management of the Architectures of the Totalitarian Regimes of 1900s§; a Guidelines for the Restoration of Modern Architecture -, culminated in the establishment of the first Cultural Route, certified by the Council of Europe in April 2014, devoted to this dissonant and uncomfortable heritage. ATRIUM PLUS intends to capitalize the ATRIUM's achievements, over all the Cultural Route, by contributing to make the above mentioned dissonant heritage a cultural-tourism attraction - to be approached always in an informed and ethic way -, via implementing the following solutions (and related outputs): 1.Establishment of a common information strategy for visitors consisting of: uniform signposting and informative panels/totems (
