L'intervento prevede l'acquisto di una pala gommata nuova, con accorgimenti che mirano ad un maggiore comfort e sicurezza dell'operatore specializzato che la utilizzera', emissioni ridotte in atmosfera e minore inquinamento acustico. La pala gommata, oltre alla dotazione tradizionale, presenta un'applicazione specifica consistente in una benna frantumatrice idraulica per ridurre i materiali immessi in pezzature lavorabili ed utilizzabili in altri ambiti, quali riempimenti, rilevati e sottofondi stradali.
