SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Il progetto ARIA sar un supporto essenziale ad uno dei pi importanti programmi di ricerca di base sulla Materia Oscura, l esperimento DarkSide-20k presso i Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso dellINFN. L esperimento prevede lAuso di circa 50 tonnellate di Argon-40 impoverito dellAisotopo radioattivo Argon-39. La purificazione dellAArgon avverr tramite separazione isotopica in una torre di distillazione criogenica di un'altezza di circa 350 metri posta in un pozzo minerario e realizzata nellAambito del progetto ARIA.
