Il programma proposto riguarda la preindustrializzazione di un dispositivo denominato M@DE, destinato alla ricezione TV in modalità PAL o DVD, e predisposto alle funzionalità di networking, con requisiti di sicurezza forte (protezione da attacchi esterni, funzionalità di firewalling per gestire la LAN domestica) e trasmissione dati ad alta velocità su reti eterogenee, sia in downstream che in upstream. Programma realizzato in collaborazione con il Politecnico di Torino e l'Università di Catania - Dipartimento di Ingegneria Informatica e delle Telecomunicazioni.
