L'intervento prevede la rimozione del manto di copertura esistente in lastre di cemento amianto/fibro cemento, tramite smontaggio manuale, bloccaggio delle lastre rimosse su bancali in legno, sigillatura con film in polietilene a più riprese, inclusa la calata a terra, il trasporto a cura di ditte specializzate fino a centro di stoccaggio e smaltimento autorizzati.
