Capitalization and Harmonization of the Adriatic Region Gate of Europe
CHARGE capitalises the gained results of IPA CBC Programme 2007-2013 CARICA project but is also laying its foundations on the results of other projects (ADRIATICMOS, INTERMODADRIA, EASYCONNECTING from IPA and ADB Multiplatform from South-East Europe) dealing with the development of freight transports in the Adriatic area and their connections to EU member states. CHARGE is in line with Priority Axis 4 "Maritime Transport", Specific Objective 4.1 since it intends to make efficient and sustainable investments for infrastructural development of ports and logistics centres, through development of integrated action plans and financial roadmaps based on forecasted traffic flows resulting from capitalized project. It will support intermodality and sustainable transport by involving decision makers, practitioners of the intermodal freight transport.
