South Adriatic Connectivity Governance Plus
The short-term challenges facing the project partners and the intended beneficiaries can be described as follow: - maintain the focus on the capitalisation and resilience of the SAGOV project outcomes. - increasing and intensifying the outreach to policy-makers, specialists and beneficiaries. - TEN-T regulation revision. In this context, SAGOV Plus will aim to use SAGOV results for better coordination and slender governance to support the institutional efforts in promoting the Montenegrin and Albanian nodes into core status of WB European Transport Corridor. The overall objective would be to support Albanian and Montenegrin government actions in that regard. Expected changes will be translated in: - higher visibility, outreach and advocacy for port of Durres and for port of Bar in their endeavour to prepared infrastructure investment dossiers for the new TEN-T EU corridors. - capitalizing the outcomes of SAGOV project with regard to regional governance and cooperation between relevant authorities in Puglia, Albania and Montenegro, as well as continuing the support for new developments such as CEMA.The newly designed WB European Transport Corridor should be seen not only as an infrastructure project, but as a mechanism of stronge
