Scuola Common 2022: 4 days dedicated "for whose sake?"

05/11/2022

During the four days in which Scuola Common 2022 was held, organized by Gruppo Abele, Libera against the mafias and Master APC (Analysis, Prevention and Contrast of Organized Crime and Corruption), territorial experiences of civic monitoring were presented during debates to which have followed moments of experimentation and laboratories.

Various national and international experiences discussed the following topics: legality, anti-corruption, Open Government, and the meaning of the term "monitoring community" and the importance of the bottom-up approach.

The territorial supporting networks of the winning teams of the Thematic ASOC Awards 2021-2022 also took an active part: the representatives of Europe Direct Calabria Europe of Gioiosa Jonica, Europe Direct Caserta, Legambiente Campania Onlus and the Istat representatives Maria Rosaria Mercuri and Antonella La Faci.

The OpenCoesione Team gave its active contribution during the workshop entitled "The model of open government: what it is and how institutions and civil society perceive it".

The 2022 edition of the Common School focused in particular on monitoring tools functional in meeting territorial needs - participatory monitoring surveys, collaborative monitoring grids (specifically, with respect to NPRR and confiscated assets) and "open government" policies as a governance policy to be proposed to public bodies.
