The new website of the Department for Cohesion Policies

16/11/2021

The first version of the website of the Department for Cohesion Policies (DPCoe) of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers has been published. The website makes available data, information and documents on the planning of cohesion policies in Italy and aims to ensure transparency in the administrative activities carried out in the coordination of these policies, providing the user with quality information with timely and reliable updates.

The structure of the website is divided into 6 main sections which illustrate:

  • how the Department is structured in its organizational structure and in its competences;

  • what is the Cohesion Policy, which funds finance it and how it is structured in the different programming periods;

  • the main thematic and territorial Strategies specifically envisaged in the programming of the Cohesion Policy and those to which it contributes;

  • how the Cohesion Policy is measured and evaluated and what are the transparency and open government initiatives on the Cohesion Policy in Italy;

  • the main regulations, rules, explanatory reports, approved Plans and Programmes, guidelines and strategic framework documents that affect the various periods of the Cohesion Policy;

  • which information is highlighted as recently updated content or of particular relevance with respect to the current debate on the Cohesion Policy.

The DPCoe website was created in synergy and is closely linked to the OpenCoesione portal, an initiative coordinated by the Department of Evaluation and Analysis for Programming (NUVAP) of the Department, which provides updated data and information on Plans and Programmes financed by the ESI Funds and by the national cohesion funds, such as the Development and Cohesion Fund (FSC). In fact, there are different links with the contents of the portal and through the republication of interactive annexes and tables developed on OpenCoesione, the DPCoe site also represents an important reuse experience.

The website of the Department for Cohesion Policies, which in the upcoming months will see the release of new versions enriched in its contents, represents a single point of access to consult data and documents referring to previous cohesion policy programmes and information on work in progress. implementation in the 2014-2020 period or in the programmatic definition phase for the 2021-2027 period.

The website enables the facilitated access to the content published on the websites and pages of other institutions directly involved in the planning, management and implementation of cohesion policies. In particular, the websites of the Agency for Territorial Cohesion, General Inspectorate for Relations with the EU, State General Accounting, Department for Economic Planning of the Presidency of the Council, National Agency for Active Labor Policies and the various competent directorates of the European Commission (DG Regio and DG Empl).
