Focus updated at 28th February 2022
In the Open Data section of the OpenCoesione portal have been published the updated versions with data at 28th February 2022. Starting from this bi-monthly update, a novelty introduced is represented by a distinction of the visualization in the open data section between the policy focus and those dedicated to single Strategies in the implementation stage in the framework of the 2014-2020 programming period.
The focuses concern the following policy sectors:Tourist attraction, Confiscated assets, Reclamation, Culture, Landslides and floods, Water, Childcare, Innovation, research and human capital, Waste. The focuses concern the following strategy framework: Climate change, Covid-19, Internal Areas National Strategy
In relation to single focuses, hereinafter find the data summary:
- Tourist attraction: 31.266 projects, for a total public cost of 16.05 billion euros (out of which 14.63 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Confiscated assets: 553 projects, for a total public cost of 289.08 million euros (out of which 287.75 million euros of cohesion resources);
- Reclamation: 1.896 projects, for a total public cost of 2.53 billion euros (out of which 2.2 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Culture: 14.023 projects, for a public cost of 9,09 billion euros (out of which 8.23 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Landslides and floods: 8.117 projects, for a total public cost of 8.88 billion euros (out of which 7.96 billion of cohesion resources);
- Water: 3.494 projects, for a total public cost of 7.62 billion euros (out of which 6.56 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Childcare: 15.158 projects, for a total public cost of 1.52 billion euros (out of which 1.46 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Research, innovation and human capital: 50.046 projects, for a total public cost of 17.75 billion euros (out of which 16.16 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Waste: 2.451 projects, for a total public cost of 2.50 billion euros (out of which 2.28 billion euros of cohesion resources).
When it comes to the single focuses of the Strategies, hereinafter is indicated the data synthesis:
- Climate change: 7,855 projects, for a public cost of 15.98 billion euros (out of which 11.76 billion euros of cohesion resources);
- Covid-19: 90.090 projects for a total public cost of 9.57 billion euros (out of which 9.49 billion euros of cohesion resources). Compared to the data at 31st December, almost 25 thousand new projects entered this focus;
- Internal Areas National Strategy (IANS): 1.321 projects for a total public cost of 247,2 millions of euros (out of which 235,0 millions of euros of cohesion resources).
The focuses of OpenCoesione provide users with the datasets created (csv files and metadata) starting from in-depth analysis on the ongoing projects, referring to specific sector policies financed with cohesion funds starting from 2007 up to today. Starting with the data release - updated on 28th February 2022, it is possible to navigate and explore the synthesis of single policy focuses in the dedicated dashboards.
