116 teams completed the ASOC1920 educational programme

29/05/2020

At the end of the 7th edition of At the School of OpenCohesion, 116 teams arrived to the final stage of the programme and are admitted to the final assessment, representing more than half of the classes participating in ASOC1920.

The work of the teams and the various creative outputs delivered during the course are assessed by a Commission, this year composed exclusively by institutional project partners (NUVAP of the Cohesion Policy Department of the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Education and the European Commission Representation in Italy) according to following five criteria:

  • research and planning;

  • data elaboration and visualization;

  • project monitoring;

  • research storytelling;

  • graphics and creativity.

This edition was marked by an extraordinary event linked to the COVID-19 emergency, which led to several changes to the ongoing activities but however did not compromise its implementation. Given the difficult conditions where the interactions were entirely based on remote collaboration tools, it appears as even more important to underline the importance of the ASOC working methodology, as well as the commitment put in place by all the participants to reach the goal and carry out the monitoring and delivery of creative outputs.

The 7th edition of the ASOC course was made possible thanks to the efforts and engagement first of all by the students and their teachers who accompanied them with dedication along the entire educational programme, as well as thanks to the active presence and strong support provided by the partner regions and territorial networks of ASOC: the EDIC / CDE centers, the associations / organizations friends of ASOC and the Istat representatives.

In addition, it is important to recall the contribution of all those teams, who had to stop halfway due to the health emergency and the closure of schools. ASOC2021 awaits you, as ASOC team always reminds, the monitoring continues.

In the meantime, the final event of the ASOC1920 edition is announced to take place online on Wednesday 10th June 2020, starting at 10.00 o'clock.

The final event  agenda and all the details for the online streaming connection will be published shortly.
