On 8th July at the premises of the Hotel Savoia in Trieste took place the final award event of the ASOC ETC (European Territorial Cooperation) Italy-Croatia pilot project that involved 4 pairs of Italian and Croatian classes in twin activities of civic monitoring of projects freely chosen and in collaboration among the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 programme.

The Commission appointed ad hoc evaluated the civic monitoring researches of all Teams involved and identified the previously announced Team couple Termoli-Buzet (team histo-CRIT-i call) to be the winner of this first edition. The Teams carried out the works on distance, while the two classes finally met in person at the award ceremony, organized in Trieste by the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Programme.

During the final event the project managers of the student Teams presented in fluent English language the development and results of their research work in the presence of Italian and Croatian National Authorities. The most precious moment was the award ceremony of the two schools, with the handover of plaques and certificates of participation to the students and teachers.

The pilot project was carried out thanks to the support of the Italian Department for Cohesion Policy, the Italian Agency for Territorial Cohesion, the Managing Authority of the Interreg Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Programme (Veneto Region), the Italian Ministry of Education, the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds and the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education.
