Data as of October 31, 2022 and new navigation tools for "cohesion resources"

16/01/2023

A new bimonthly update has been published on OpenCoesione, which enables the data consultation relating to the implementation of cohesion policy projects as at 31st October 2022. The overall number of operations is 1,877,726, over 65 thousand more than in the previous two months.

The total public cost of the projects monitored is now equal to 220.6 billion euros, approximately 4 billion euros more than at 31 August 2022. As regards the progress of payments, the overall amount disbursed is 113.7 billion euros .

The novelty of this release concerns the possibility of navigating and consulting the data related to "cohesion resources", which are 179.9 billion euros as of 31 October 2021. This means that in all the pages that present the data in aggregate form, even in those relating to individual programmes, it is possible to view where, how and for what type of investment the resources of the European and national cohesion policy have been used, net of the other public resources attracted. To do this, simply highlight the "cohesion resource cost" or "cohesion resource payment" button.

With the update to 31 October 2022, 8 new programmes enter into monitoring. Out of these, 7 refer to the 2014-2020 period and one to the new 2021-2027 programming period as follows:

  • CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MUNICIPALITIES OF INNER AREAS (ordinary resources 2014-2020 period)

  • PSC MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSPORT (FSC 2014-2020)

  • PSC CALABRIA (FSC 2014-2020)

  • PSC FRIULI-VENEZIA GIULIA (FSC 2014-2020)

  • PSC LOMBARDY (FSC 2014-2020)

  • PSC MOLISE (FSC 2014-2020)

  • CIS LAND OF FIREWORKS (FSC 2014-2020)

  • PSC VALLE D'AOSTA (FSC 2021-2027)

As can be seen, the gradual update of the Development and Cohesion Plans, started with the data update of the 30th June 2022, is continuing, and it foresees the elimination of projects from the original FSC Plans or Programmes and the simultaneous inclusion in the new PSCs, where will continue the monitoring of their implementation.
